For our May First Friday project, we’re featuring beautiful Temis, a cotton thick and thin yarn that makes a beautiful and fun fabric. Here’s a little swatch to show you what I mean.
As I said in the newsletter, Temis is perfect for Nettie, a sweet little cardigan from Cocoknits.
I blogged about it when it first came out, and have been looking for just the right fiber ever since, so Voila! Ginni’s making great progress on hers- she just started the thing last week and she’s almost finished already. It goes pretty fast since it’s worked up all in one piece.
The good folks at Katia have also designed this super cute cover-up in Temis. Isn’t it darling! and the pattern’s free
Personally I think shades of neutrals would be best. How about this palette? I LOVE it. The cover-up takes just two skeins each, and it’s super simple to knit. Perfect for a busy May.
Come by the shop and pick up some Temis and get started on Nette or a TemisWrap. If you’re not near the shop, give us a call, or send us an email and we’ll ship one out to you. You’ll love wearing Temis – it’s a gorgeous yarn for the summer ahead.
