Here’s a tip from one of our customers. She said that after a season of overindulgence with her lovely daughter who was home from college, she found that she had about five pounds she wanted to lose. Did she join the gym? Go on the South Beach Diet? No! She picked up her knitting so that she wouldn’t be tempted to snack while she was watching tv or a movie. Not a bad plan, especially when I consider what a stress-eater I am. If I knit a bit during stressful times, I’m lots less likely to eat an entire bag of chips or a plate of cookies.
