For some strange reason, these past few weeks I’ve been totally obsessed with the idea of knitting a skirt. I’ve been particularly focused on a skirt to go with the Chanel Jacket we’re knitting next month. Whatever, I’ve been scouring books, magazines, and the web for just the right design. You know, a knitted skirt is one of things I had imagined would be really unflattering – some kind of clingy thing that accentuates all my worst parts. But the adorable little skirt in the Lace Style Trunk Show really changed my mind. It’s got this little 3×1 rib and then a flirty little ruffle that just swings so sassily when you walk. And we’ve had customers of all different shapes and sizes try it on – looks great on everyone. The fabric gives a bit where it needs to and seems to find the best on every different body.
